Well, I am not sure why am i not updating this. I thought if i write about myself and my unique activities (specially my encounters with Thaata nowadays :-)) if not every day, at least once a week. But, alas .. i think i am just freaking myself out. I havent updated my posts since the Denver trip 2 months ago. DR has gone for a toss, with G out of DR Project and "Dharti ka bojh" taking over .. Sala c***** does not even understand the level of work we do and how dynamic is Operations-Engineering. Usko sala rack, screw, 4-pole aur L5-20 / L6-20 yeh chor ke kuch nahi aata hain. Pathetic and irritating to explain to such a moron. What should i say ?
So that being said, i am doing too many things now, Hope I had 20 hands and 20 legs and I could have had a hologram image of myself. Nevertheless, am slogging and working and working. My riding has gone for a toss, I seldom ride nowadays. I thought of doing a track day before going to India, but no time. My mother is frantically looking for a girl for me, can you believe it ADas will be marrying ... nightmare will be that day. With the mountains of work am handling, biwi idhar Umrica me leke aaye to geya kaam se ... ya to khud bhagegi ya to mereko nikaal dega ghar se. Why is there so much tension in life.
So, frustration is venting itself out. What are the good sides of the story ? ummmmm .. I dont perceive any good side coming out in the near future except that i decided to buy a GSXR or an R1 as am not getting that much power out of the ZR-7. I went on a ride with "Ami Maach Khaabe ... " yo yo on 280, revved up the ZR-7 at 10K RPM and drove at 120mph. Miss Chris's R6 which bursts out at 8K all the way to 14-16K ... awesome man.
And, as usual i am Yodlee's official free-service cab provider. Doing up/downs to SFO has become a routine for me. So, I think i need to put all these in my reimbursement expenses for this month.

Trip to Denver
Phew !! at last i was able to sit again to write my blogsssssssss. GRRRR !!! to me. I picked up Bibek from Airport, per my last email and went home (where else should i go) I gave the rent cheque and holy smoke they are increasing the rent again by 200$ ... It will be impossible to live at that cost. I dont earn much. So, Bibek went to his friend's home and I went to Great Mall with Shashi and Prashant to buy shoes. Haa Haa thats what i tell everyone to do first time for shipping, so that I can use my AAA card for 20% discount. Everyone is happy hence. But, as usual, Indians will multiply dollars with rupees and convert the amount and compare it with shops in India :-) , I never did it when I came to US initially, but anyway thats not bad and am not cursing anyone for doing that. Btw- these guys spent 2 hours just at the Reebok store, and finally decided to buy something. wow !!!! ...
Ok, so I needed to plan for my Denver trip and Monday we had a ramp-up call and something freaked me out and i started questioning bull-shit questions which caused confusions. It was my fault. Thaata was upset because of that. I need to be more professional. It is no longer an "Indian" type work environment now. Well, I learnt many things that day.
man - this awesome movie is going on. "What women want" ... I will finish watching it and then continue updating this.

Back Again
Darn, I kind of did not return back to blog'ing even after my commitment last year. However, an incident today made me decide. I SHOULD WRITE SOMETHING EVERYDAY ....
I practically worked the entire day today, wanted to test out Vmware on my new HP laptop to prepare the imaging infrastructure for the Denver DataCenter build. the build is complete and I have to test it out tomorrow. My biggest fault, I wait till the last minute. I cooked after a long time and made Macaroni. It was so hot that I had to turn the air-condition on. Evening i decided, enough of working .. lets go for a movie. Hopped into Puneet's car, man i love driving the new Honda Civic and went to my fav theatre, AMC Mercado. NEXT was the movie which i watched today. Nicolas Cage was good, but the movie's story was weak. Overall time-pass movie. Now, coming back to what made be start my blog ..... After a quick Starbucks Coffee while i was driving back home, I saw an old man waving a red flash light in the middle of San Tomas Expwy. I did not see his car, so evident he was either stranded or had other intentions. Nevertheless, somewhere, deep within myself I felt that I should help him. I heard a lot from so-called long staying Indians in America not to help strangers on road (90% of the so-called long staying Indians suggest wrong) . I took an U-turn on Forbes, and went to that man .. He did not look frightening and was very polite. Apparently, his car broke down and his girl-friend refused to drop him back home. He stayed at Campbell Ave, so i offered to drop him. From him, I came to know at East it was 95 today ... wow !! no wonder it was so hot in afternoon ... Bike Riding time is back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So what do you think folks? Did i do a good job today, whoever says anything I dont care, I was satisfied and I think I did a good job by helping out someone. Afterall, you can afford not to have 2 legs in America but without a car .. noway, you are paralized. I know how it is without a car. I cycled 3 months in rain .. up-down from datacenter to Redwood City.
I have to pick up Bibek tomorrow from SFO Airport and also need to take out Prashant and Shashi for sight-seeing. Not sure where to go for couple of hours. Maybe a ride to Highway-1.
Adieu, Good Night
